First Impression:
The members area is simplistic and plain, but makes organization easy. Navigation links are found at the top of the pages, and getting around is no problem. There's a small number of ads on the main page, and links to preview galleries for other sites, but generally it's unobtrusive, and not misleading.
Review:
The models on this site range from moderately attractive down to homely. Some are in their 20s, some older. Some seem amateurish, others seem very porn-y. They're all on the tour though, so no surprises. Most episodes the cameraman talks to the models who then strip, play with themselves, then get down on a sybian that someone else is controlling. Some of the girls seem into it and are hitting those climaxes, a few are a little more stagy about it. Videos run about 12 to 20 minutes.
The site has 39 videos on it. Updates stopped happening about a year ago.
Videos come in WMV and MPEG formats for download, and there's a small WMV available for streaming. The MPEG is 321x240 to 384x240. The large WMVs are 320x240 at around 560kbps to 700kbps bitrate, with the newest dozen or so at 640x480 and a bitrate that goes from around 700 to 1500kbps. There is a smaller version available for the WMV.
Video is shot with a camcorder, the quality ranges from so-so to alright but nothing outstanding, some are a little grainy, some are a little digitized around the edges. The camera's auto-lighting compensates too much, so some shots will start getting darker for no discernible reason, especially annoying on close-ups. Audio ranges from weak to acceptable, mainly based on how close the subjects are to the camera mic; I found 1 video where the audio went out of sync partway through.
Each episode also has a photo gallery, so there are 39 of those, around 60 to 80 per set. Photos are anywhere from 534x800 to 819x1229. On the still sets, the image quality is fair, the pics themselves are shot somewhat amateurish so they're a little flat and some look a bit rough, some dark; on the sets that are just screencaps, they're standard vidcap quality - poor. The choice of shots in the still sets spans those episodes pretty well.
Bonus content is access to 21 other sites in the network across a variety of niches. There's anal, interracial, cum, college, handjobs, milf, and tranny sites. Note that the first bonus link on the main page doesn't work though, but the rest of them do.
Negatives starts with a lack of new updates. Then we move on to the fact that the videos aren't available in the formats claimed in the tour; nor is the download manager actually available. The tour also is misleading about the quality of the videos. I also came across a small number of videos and links that weren't there.
Summary:
Honestly, I have to say I wasn't impressed with 1000 Orgasms. The members area is plain and has a few missing pages, the models are a varied lot but none blew me away, they've stopped updating, the content isn't great quality, and the tour claims more than they have. Ultimately, if you like the girls on the tour then you might not be too disappointed, but I can't recommend 1000 Orgasms too highly.
