First Impression:
What do you love about action movies? If your answer was women in tight, scanty clothes in hot cars, bikini-clad babes firing great big guns or wielding flame throwers, hot girls riding astride motorcycles and horses, fit babes fighting with deadly skill, than you're in luck as this is a review of Action Girls. Action Girls is more than a glamour model site, although every woman starring in their videos is a beautiful world-class glamour model. There are famous names like Susana Spears, Erica Campbell and Sylvia Saint. In fact, if you grew up reading Playboy and watching the Bond movies because of the women, this site is more than you ever dreamed was possible.
Review:
It's difficult to compare Action Girls to other sites because not only is the action different - the format it's presented in is also different. Directed and conceptualized by Scotty JX, these movies stand out from anything I've seen on the web. The site navigation may not be quite as clear as some I've seen, but the unique content more than makes up for it.
Each movie comes in 2 sizes and 3 formats - QuickTime, Real and WMV. All movies are available not as a full scene or video, and not as a clip but rather by a short scene that is complete in and of itself but is also part of a longer video. And all the videos here are downloadable, which is a plus. While the small vids here aren't really small enough for dialup users, I'd say that if they're very patient, the small videos might work out for them.
Many of the large movies inside Action Girls are shown at 320x240, which is a little disappointing. Bitrates vary but all the movies look good at their original size, although some look better than others when enlarged to 200%. The newest Action Girls videos are shown at 480x270 or 580x326 with bitrates between 564 and 664kbps or even better. While these still aren't the full screen videos I'd like to see with these particular movies, a lot can be forgiven when it comes to these vids - there's nothing else like them and they're incredible.
You can search by movie genre, which include Western, Water and Fitness, Horror/Action, (Fights) Girl vs Girl, Shooting Guns and Straight Action. You can also search by story or by model. Searching by model is the only way to browse not only the videos but also the pics.
Yes, there are pics inside Action Girls. Each set is offered in 2 sizes - LARGE SIZE and NORMAL SIZE. The normal pics around shown at around 800x600 and the large shown at about 700x1024 or bigger. The pic sets show not only the typical Action Girls action but there are plenty of sets of the models in more typical cheesecake pics. There are also sets of vidcaps for those who want pics taken directly from the movies.
The models here are top-notch stars most of us have seen in magazines, DVD movies and high end websites. Not only do they have beautiful faces and hot bodies, they really have learned how to use powerful weapons and how to run, ride, kick like a stunt woman and more. And the best part is that unlike real action films where the boobs and pussies are always covered up, after these girls play with their big guns, they've been known to strip naked and masturbate.
Something that is worth mentioning is that you will find a link to download the soundtrack at the top of the member pages. And believe me, some of this music is worth listening to later.
Everything about Action Girls goes beyond mere porn and movies into the realms generally reserved for Hollywood action movies. The music may well be written for the videos - it's more than suitable for an action TV show or movie in quality, pacing and everything else. The locations are amazing - I saw one girl walking through a smelting plant as red-hot molten metal was poured next to her. It added a note of drama to the scene.
Did I have issues with the site? Well, to be honest a lot can be forgiven a site with such wonderful and unique content. I wasn't surprised to find 5 Action Girls DVDs for sale both in the member area and on the tour, but they aren't sneaky about it and it wasn't a problem for me. Also the monthly price is a little high for a regular site, but not unreasonable for a one-of-a-kind site like this.
Summary:
The bottom line here is that Action Girls provides beautiful babes firing powerful guns, driving exotic cars, explosions, jail breaks, and a variety of stylized violence previously only found in Hollywood's B movies. There's plenty of solo girl action as well as some girl/girl. Locations and weapons are worthy of spy films. The music is great and really works for these gems, the action and the girls are flawless. I only wish all the videos were the size of the newest ones - or even bigger. Pics and videos can be downloaded and the site updates several times per month.
