First Impression:
Today's review is of Blacks on Blondes. This is an interracial hardcore site, black guys with white girls. Technically not all the girls are blondes, and there's even an Asian girl in the header, but as Shakespeare said, what's in a name?
Review:
The member area is old school, dusty, like it should be in a museum, complete with the ancient animated "updated" and "new" graphics - I seem to remember seeing crude webpages like this found on walls of caves in the French countryside - I'm sayin' it's old here, folks! If you like black background with yellow links, boy have I got good news for you!
What the member area lacks in flashy graphics (or, really, any graphics) it makes up for by being incredibly straightforward, it's easy to navigate because of simplicity, though some might find it too simple. There's a section for pictures and a section for movies. The only ads are the last 2 links on the main page, live chat and live webcams. There's also an advertising issue I found with the links to the other sites in the network, they go directly to 1-day-membership join pages even though if you type in the URL of the site your password does work.
The models are generally 20s to 30s, and cover the gamut of types of looks and body types, and range from moderately attractive to decent, most with that porn girl kind of look. Blondes are the more common from what I noticed, but there are a lot of brunettes as well; and while most of the girls are white, there are a small number of Asian chicks and other ethnicities too. The action is either guy on girl, multiple guys on girl, or even occasionally multiples girls on guy; some of the scenes also feature anal.
There are currently 232 video episodes here. The site updates 2 different episodes with 1 clip each every other day (they say 1 per day on the main page, but the dates on the videos page say otherwise). The videos are generally 3 clips total, so that's around 2 new full length videos a week. Plus a new photo series every week, added in thirds. It's a little confusing to read but makes more sense when you see it in person.
Videos are offered in WMV format in 3 sizes. The large "broadband" videos are 640x480 at 1057 kbps bitrate. They claim these are "DVD" quality, the numbers say otherwise, but nevertheless they are a good size and stream well; they also claim the videos need Windows Media Player 10 but I could play them in WMP 9. The newest 150 or so medium videos are 448x336 at 702 kbps; small are 320x240 at 224 kbps. The older 90 Mediums are MPEGs at 320x240 and smalls are a mix of WMV and RealPlayer - I'd rather eat my own foot than use RealPlayer anymore - luckily those older vids have the "broadband" WMVs too. All the medium and small vids are cut up into shorter clips around 2 minutes a piece, so there are a lot more of those links to click.
The video quality is decent, generally clear and well-lit. The camera is mobile so it gets a lot of close-ups and moves about the action. Sound quality is "camcorder" good, it's presented loud enough but occasionally the model will move away from the camera or use a quiet voice; conversely, sometimes the guy holding the camera will talk and it can be too loud for the same reason.
There are currently 241 photo galleries here, each has 100 to 300 images or so. The newer galleries have separately-shot stills while the older galleries have only vidcap images. The newest stills are 1076x1600 at around 300kb each, they're very big and clear, though the camerawork needs some finesse to get color tones right, and not show all the models' flaws. Most of the newer stills after that are 683x1024 at around 100kb each, still adequately big and clear, the smaller size helps hide some of the photographic issues I just mentioned. The vidcaps are 800x600 but only alright quality, not that clear and some have interlacing issues. One annoyance is that the photos sport not 1 but 2 watermarks, one for this site's URL in the bottom right and another in the top left with the company's name, "Dogfart" - seems a bit much.
Bonus content starts with access to 6 other sites in their network, all interracial (1 of them is gay) - there's a caveat here though, the links in the members area don't work right, your password does work on those sites but you'll have to type in the URL yourself to get there. You also get access to their interracial stories which they update regularly, their interracial cartoons archive, and access to interracial personals.
Negatives starts with that bullshit about the links to the bonus sites going to 1-day-membership join pages, that's just ridiculous! Also, it's a little confusing to see "Dogfart" mentioned so often if you don't know that it's their exclusive producer. The video episodes should have been linked to their corresponding photo episodes. The episodes only have 1 measly preview thumbnail to give you an idea of what to expect from it. Finally, the site lacks personality, no text about the girls except on the tour and 1 paragraph on the newest episode.
Summary:
Overall, this site offers a lot of interracial hardcore content, updates regularly, stays on-message very well, the video is offered in a good size, and the server responded and kept up well. There's not much charm to the member's area, but it's direct and there's a lot of archived content. If you're looking for black guys fucking white girls, Blacks on Blondes is definitely worth checking out!
