First Impression:
Hot Virgin Next Door is the focus of today's review. The theme is virgin girls either having sex or masturbating. "Virgin" also usually means 18 to early 20s, which does seem to be the case here. This is one of those porn categories where you have to take a leap of faith and want to believe in it because there's no doctors checking hymens or anything, and contrary to popular belief you can't tell a virgin just by looking at her. Hmm, maybe there is a porn site somewhere out there with doctors confirming medically that the girls are indeed virgins - how sick would that be? (But surfers would probably go check it out anyway.)
Review:
The members area is primarily all on 1 page which is overloaded, and there's no navigation links to jump you down the page. This kind of presentation looks cheap with a single column of episodes (hilariously, there's a "more" link at the end of the very long column taking you to a page with just 3 more episodes) and then afterwards all those episodes again as tiny thumbs and links in rows of 5, follow that up with more content and you've got an incredibly long, annoying page. That said, there are no ads and it is direct, so if you don't mind scrolling it's easy to use.
The models here look in their late teens to mid-20s, generally slim bodies and cute faces. Are they really virgins? How the fuck would I know? They don't BEHAVE like virgins, but that's the point I guess - who wants to watch a bunch of porn flicks of girls saying "no" to sex? A couple of the videos are lesbian, the rest are either solo masturbation or hardcore scenes. The vids each run about 10 to 12 minutes long.
This site has 34 video episodes total. I'd love to tell you how often they update, but there are no dates listed, though the network updates list confirms that there hasn't been an update here in the last 2 weeks.
Videos come in WMV and MPEG formats. The video sizes aren't consistent, the 9 newest ones are a respectable 640x480 at 1496kbps bitrate, while the older files are just half that 320x240 at 696kbps; and a few of the videos don't conform to either. In terms of playback, the MPEGs all play smoothly, while the WMVs aren't quite as smooth but still acceptable.
WMV video quality here is generally alright, and the MPEGs look better - though they're a heavier download of course. Clarity is mainly ok, not astounding but decent, though the smaller videos don't full-screen all that great. Sound seems to be pretty quiet, but not all videos are the same in this department.
There are 2 types of picture sets on this site. Every episode has a video capture gallery, that's 34 of those sets. These vidcap pics are 640x480 and around 50 to 65kb a piece, and they are poor quality. Then there's 39 other photo sets, these are not from the episodes at all and are actual still photos. These photos are around 600x900 and about 100 to 150kb a piece, and these are acceptable quality.
Bonus content starts with 8 "teen babysitter" videos, these are straight up porn movies complete with porn music, around 20 minutes a piece, they're pretty good looking files and run about 448x336 at 759kbps bitrate. Next is a strip poker game... "zzzz. Eh? What? Wake up and finish the review?" Now that we're done with the sketch comedy, the main bonus here - even though it's last on the page - is access to 12 more sites in their network of various niches, most ending in the phrase "next door".
The first negative is a lack of update dates. Next is the video sizes, nearly 3/4s of the vids are fairly small vids. And the members area is annoying having to scroll through such a long page. Then the tour, granted it makes very few claims, but it only shows images from the photo sets which doesn't give you an idea of what to expect from the video episodes - since they're unrelated to the photo sets. Also, the tour claims there are trailers there, but I can't find them.
Summary:
Hot Virgin Next Door is a minimalist site. The models are attractive enough, there's an ok number of episodes but no idea when they update. Some of the videos are a good size but most are small. Half the pics are vidcaps while the other are alright stills that aren't connected to the episodes. And there's an ok number of bonuses but nothing outstanding. Bottom line, I just don't see any reason to recommend Hot Virgin Next Door, but it's an okay site.
