First Impression:
Our next review is of KatieThomas.com. This is the interracial hardcore site of Katie Thomas. It says here she's the sister of interracial porn actress Spring Thomas, though I don't see the resemblance beyond them both being cute white girls having sex with black guys. The tour has a ton of pages with sample trailers, so you can really get an idea of what this site has to offer. The video and picture counts on each episode sample seem a little high though; let's find out what that's about.
Review:
The members area is very basic and straightforward; it's just pages and pages of episodes with everything linked right there. The only navigation is the page number links near the top and bottom of each main episode page. The photo gallery pages are a little tricky to get back from, the only link back is the episode name which is the name of the other people in the video - it's not at all obvious that's your only link back to the main section. There are ads here near the top of most pages, links to 6 other sites in their network, they go to join pages for free 1-day trials that recur at normal billing prices.
Katie is a cute girl, brunette, early 20s, small tits. One thing that shows up in the pics and vids is her complexion, she has some pimples and the camera gets so close that it shows up. Playback is smooth and there is no DRM to worry about.
Video quality is pretty good. It's camcorder video but that doesn't mean it looks bad. Clarity and color are decent enough, lighting's a little dim at times but not too bad. Sound is decent for the most part, it does depend how far the subject is from the camera - and some of the videos are turned down a little - but it generally picks up the conversation, and the action comes through.
Each episode also has a gallery of separately-shot stills, a gallery of vidcaps, and then a second vidcap gallery done in 4-panel format, so that's 56 picture sets of each. Each still photo set has about 160 to 250 pictures, the photos here are around 680x1020 and 120 to 240k a piece, and they are decent quality photos to boot. There are about 150 to 300 vidcaps per set, these are around 720x480 and 50 to 100k, and they look alright for vidcaps if a little interlaced.
There is no true bonus content here. The top of most of the pages claims your membership entitles you to membership at 6 other sites in their network, but each link goes to a join page for a free 1-day trial that recurs at full price so you get two memberships for the price of two! And I tried my password at a few of the sites, no go. Thanks for nothing!
Negatives starts with that fake bonus content bullshit, there's no reason to scam your members. Other than that, there's the lack of obvious navigation from the photo gallery pages back to the main pages. And I'd like to see more size consistency in the videos.
Summary:
KatieThomas.com is a very direct site with plenty of video and photo content focusing on Katie Thomas, a cute amateur-type having sex with black dudes. The videos and photos are a decent size and quality, and there's also 2 sets of vidcaps. The phony bonus sites thing the only real sticking point, and it's not promised content so it's passable - even if you do feel like a sucker.
