First Impression:
One of the first porn sites I saw on the web back in 1996 was The Wetlands. The site had a motto - "Where wives get naked" and most of what the tour showed was a wife named Cherie and called Cbaby. When you log into The Wetlands, you are taken to a page with 5 options. At the top of the page on the graphic containing the logo you will find an ENTER HERE link. Below are 4 more exclusive amateur sites that members get access to. More about them shortly, but first let's enter the site.
There are 27 navigation links running across the top of the page, which makes finding your way a bit bewildering at first. While the navigation at The Wetlands could be easier, the amount of real amateur wife content is huge. Also important links to note are All Video, which shows the videos without mixing them in with the photo sets, the link to Home on the far left, the Help link on the lower left and the link to Recent Updates - also on the left.
The member home page is also the Recent Updates page, and there are 100 recent updates on the page. There have been 7 updates this week and there were 4 updates last week. There are a total of 17 updates this month and today is the 23rd of the month, and it looks as if this level of updates is normal for The Wetlands as the 100 most recent updates take place over 5 months, which means members can expect about 20 updates monthly. Some of the updates are pic sets, some are videos, some are remastered versions of existing movies. Here's the catch - there's no way to easily know which updates are photos and which are videos without clicking. Of course, that's no real hardship and you can always use the search or the All Videos link if you want only vids.
There are over 400 videos inside The Wetlands. The vids play in an embedded player which works fine in Internet Explorer but not so well in Firefox. Firefox users can simply click the link below that says "Right click on this link and choose "Save target as" to download Right click here" and anyone who wants to save the videos can right click and save from that same link. There's also a link to the player if you need a copy, but since the movies are WMVs, most people will have no trouble playing them.
And that leads to video facts. The movies here WMVs shown at 320x240. Quality varies depending on the age of the video and whether it is one of the amateur wife videos or an archived live show. The oldest regular videos come in 3 sizes, the largest of which has a bitrate of around 264kbps where the newer vids better at around 700kbps. That means the older videos are okay quality while the newer ones are good enough to enlarge to 200% if you prefer your videos big. Sound is good on all the videos I watched and the videos play smoothly. Some of the movies show one of the wives masturbating, others weave a sexual fantasy, some are member-submitted videos and still others are frank and get right down to business fucking and sucking.
Now let's take a look at the other sections here. There's a section called Cbaby. Cbaby - or Cherie - is the original wife from The Wetlands. She and her husband started this site back in 1996, and today - 11 years later - she still has fun on camera for the site. There are also more sections called Couples, Young Wives, Other Men's Wives, Mature, Lesbian, Interracial, Group and Special. Some of the sections update less frequently than others but several have updated recently. These sections contain both pic and video content.
The photos inside The Wetlands range from the smaller side of medium, shown at around 640x480, to a little bigger at around 533x800. I'd say the pics are average amateur quality. The pic pages offer you a chance to enlarge the pics to bigger sizes, but I was unable to get that feature to work in Firefox or Internet Explorer. Although the pics aren't huge, there are a lot of pic sets here and one look at most of the women in the pics and you'll know these are real wives - women you might see in the supermarket or dropping their kids off at school. These are just the kind of horny regular women a person visiting an amateur wife site would like to see!
The Wetlands also includes a POD (pic of the day), a message board and chat, access to the Camz live network and a collection of original wife sex stories that are really good. The Wetlands is a huge site started by a real amateur wife and her husband. Since 1996, the site has grown huge and Cbaby and Jon (the wife and husband) have found more husbands and wives to play on their site. The site has around 20 updates per month and the vids, while shown at 320x240, are worth saving and there are over 400 of them. There are also tons of pics, an exclusive story collection and more features - as well as a very reasonable monthly price.
