First Impression:
Okay, quality porn lovers - today I'm checking out a site called Upperclass Video, and for the last 8 months, this site has been updating with full HD videos shown at 1280x720 or your choice of 2 lower sizes for those who are impatient. This site features well known pornstars like Jezebelle Bond and Gwen Diamond, up and coming pornstars like Sierra Sinn and Leah Luv as well as starlets like Gianna Lynn. If you love watching porn girls in high quality very hardcore videos, join me as I take a closer look at Upperclass Video.
Review:
The member area of Upperclass Video is pretty intuitive and easy to use, but there is one thing that might be an issue for some members. Some of the navigation is accomplished through the use of icons that are simple to figure out. Scroll down the main member page to find links to all the HD videos as well as the latest updates. There are currently 27 HD videos and listed at the bottom is the "core archive", which lists 29 standard movies.
Something that stands out about the vids at Upperclass Video is that they are shot from two different angles with two video cameras, and from time to time, both videos are shown on the screen simultaneously. This is interesting and different, but depending on your personal preferences, it could be a plus or a minus. On the plus side, getting both angles at once is unique and you pretty much always see the angle you like. On the minus site, both angles are shown smaller as they are shown on the same screen at the same time.
The full updates at Upperclass Video are not as frequent as I'd like to see - although there are variations in the schedule, there are generally 2 updates per month. While the site indicates it updates more frequently, each scene is broken into 6 clips and they only add 1 clip per update. That means that it takes 6 updates to add one full scene, so I am only counting the time it takes a FULL movie to be added. Last month, there were only 2 updates listed. As far as I can tell, there have been less updates each month since the videos went HD 8 months ago.
The HD videos are shown in several clips, each several minutes a piece, but there are no full movies offered in the HD section. Each video here is offered in 3 speeds/sizes - HIGH, which are shown at 1280x720 with a bitrate of around 3.83 Mbps plus a medium and low speed/size. The HIGH vids are the HD videos, and they are definitely good quality. While I've seen higher quality HD in a couple places, these videos are some of the biggest and best you'll see around. They are also pretty big - downloading all the clips from a single video can easily take up 750mb of harddrive space. Still, you can't beat the quality here - not even at full screen! The medium and low videos are both good sizes for guys on slower broadband or who just hate waiting.
These videos all have good sound, but some of them don't have much sound and might have been better with a soundtrack in the background. And that leads to a different issue - although some of the models here are pretty high end starlets and some are even pornstars, these videos are shot almost like amateur shoots. The lighting is okay, but not professional or semi pro and the sets are mostly pretty plain. Something else you may notice is that while you usually see the girls in these videos in professional makeup, here they are wearing less makeup and their hair doesn't look professionally done. This may be a plus for you if you prefer the natural look.
The HD videos each come with a set of vidcaps that you can save as a zip file or browse as a thumbnailed gallery. As vidcaps go, these are both huge and high quality. The reason is that HD video is bigger and better quality than regular video, and so pics taken directly from the video are also bigger and better. I'd definitely recommend you browse the pics from each video.
Now on to the older, or "core archive" videos. As mentioned, these are not HD, but the newer high quality vids are still pretty big and high quality. Recent ones are shown at a screen size of 720x360 with a bitrate of 1.43 Mbps, which is good quality and large. Older archive vids are shown at 672x336 with a speed of 1.27 Mbps, which is still better than you see on a lot of sites. Each video also comes with a set of vidcaps and a low bandwidth version. Something I liked about the archived vids is that they come in a full movie download as well as clips.
Summary:
Upperclass Video offers name pornstars and high end porn starlets in high quality videos that have a special feature - sometimes the action is shown in 2 frames at once and includes 2 camera angels. Some of the vids are HD and others are very good standard videos, and each offers lower versions, as well. The videos are WMVs and can be streamed or downloaded. These videos are shot in good amateur settings rather than using pro lights and sets but the action is hot and hard. The site usually adds 2 videos per month but if you prefer quality over quantity, I'd recommend checking out Upperclass Video!
